Transform Passwords From The Dictionaries. Example 1
I know the password I used, but must have just spelled it wrong. How do I best use your software to crack the code? The word I used was "aerosmith".
You can restore passwords yourselves. How to do that? Here are the guidelines:
- create a simple textual document (plaintext);
- type only one word in it (it's "aerosmith" in this example);
- save it to your hard disk. Now this file is a dictionary;
- launch Accent WORD Password Recovery (or Accent EXCEL Password Recovery or Accent OFFICE Password Recovery);
- with the help of the program open the password-protected Word document or Excel spreadsheets;
- following the Task Creation Wizard use the dictionary-based attack;
- add the dictionary to the list;
- customize word forms transformation by selecting checkboxes (change case, interchange adjacent chars, skip chars, add digits to the words);
- start the search.
Accent Password Recovery tool will read your password out of the dictionary ("aerosmith"), will go over all possible variants by transforming and verifying the results. Voila! The password’s found.
